Tudor Flat Cap

This flat cap is constructed of buckram and is covered in corduroy. The inner edge of the brim was left unwired to facilitate resizing, if necessary.

The hat was constructed for Lucentio’s (Sam Ashdown, AEA) top-of-show look, but was worn almost entirely by Tranio (Michael Doherty, AEA) after the switch in the first scene.
